Really annoying how Vasi is 1000x better than he was in the Leafs series a year ago (after a very uneven season until the last month or so) and we're in worse shape coming home than we were a year ago. One even strength goal per game won't cut it, and wasting a 4-minute PP in a tie game in the 3rd period won't cut it either. When you're the underdog, you have to take your chances when they present themselves, we didn't, we're down 0-2 and deservedly so.

Had a hat trick in his first game(or one of his early games), was played on the 3rd or 4th line a lot, and had dominated in the AHL. I get why he left, but he has been probabaly the biggest(or maybe 2nd biggest) blunder to lose for nothing.

We don't have the fire power 5v5 to cash in. Hagel, Cirelli, Kucherov, Point and Paul are the bulk of our offense that haven't done a f***ing thing in two games. Only Stamkos has looked decent and even then, not by much. Point got a deflection, sick. Button hooked 872 times and did f*** all the entire game. Him and Kucherov have been dire.

Thats no contest. Vasy played his ass off and gave it to the bench on the way out, rightfully so. Duclair can walk tbh. Not happy with him. Playing like it's the regular season or a scrimmage with the ol pals out there.

Because four guys got sucked into looking at Tkachuks mouthpiece hanging out of his mouth and ignored two other forwards on the ice.

It's actually mind boggling how dumpster fire we can play when it matters most in OT. You just knew we weren't going to win when Dumba shot that GWG into a diving Ray Charles and Cirelli missing that 1 on 1.
