Grier’s pro scouting staff has been absolutely killing it on everything down to the smallest acquisitions like Carpenter, Bailey and MacDonald.

Nothing prevented the previous regime from finding useful depth players like these guys. Unfortunately they thought they were the smartest people in the room and decided to import Euros nobody else wanted like Melker, Sorensen, Radil and Heed instead.

I’m confused, Eklund does the turnover that leads to Panarin’s third goal and he would be stapled to the 4th line.

Zetterlund does it and he’s still in the top 6 and getting plenty of ice time.
