[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

It was a little weird to walk into Staples Center, to be honest with you.
But I think after a couple of minutes in the dressing room, you kind of forget about it.
Before the road trip, I think the guys were looking forward to coming here and measuring yourself against the best teams in the League.
There's nothing better than California, they say. We're having a lot of fun right now and that's a really good thing.
- Derick Brassard

This is an important stretch for our team here. We're playing well in all three zones, and we're trying to get as many points as we can.
There's no revenge here in this game. We can't change the past. We can only learn from it, and we're trying to be a better team this year.
- Ryan McDonagh

They capitalized on a couple of our mistakes early on, but we stuck to what we wanted to do, play a fast game.
Then in the second period I thought we had some good looks, good net presence, and made it a little more challenging for their goaltender.
- Alain Vigneault

Holy **** that roster looks like crap

Without Jumbo Joe, they still have elite players. They are very similiar to the Ducks. However, unlinke Anaheim, seems like they are trying to spread talent throughout 3 lines instead of 2.

It’s a rebuild.
The Rangers record is very deceiving due to all the games at hand, but at least for this streak, this is the most dominant I've seen the team since the early to mid 90s.

They really take it to the competition. They look very confident, and intimidating (not by brute force, by sheer execution of ability).

I hope they keep it up tonight, but if they have to drop one, I'd rather have a miss in the West than when they return.

Here's hoping for a good game!

Agreed!

I believe Jumbo Joe might play tonight. I believe he was a game time decision in their last game against the Blues, where they got spanked 7-2.

Due for a loss after two big wins....guys likely did some golfing and celebrating on a day off....nothing to get worked up over . Hopefully I am wrong on that and we indeed get the two points .:)

Yup, and very avg goaltending. Frankly, I believed going into this Cali trip, that this was probably the easiest game of the 3.

I thought the Kings would be. I see no reason why we should lose this one. We are healthy and rested. Take another 2 points here

Can't wait - going to the game tonight! Moved out to the Bay last summer and been watching as many games as I could. Hoping this is a good one
