Scratching Frost for a 7th D is some serious LOL stuff. It's one thing to operate as a coach where you make decisions without caring what the gallery thinks, but that only works where you're making defensible decisions.
The upside to this season is that if they win enough to squeak into the playoffs, a lot of young players are going to get experience. I won't mind that. The other upside if they don't win enough is that they have a better draft position. I won't mind that, either. I'd prefer they lose because the other team outplayed them, not because the coach stacked the lineup with replacement-level players and did stupid things like pick Foerster over Konecny in the SO. I have no doubt that if I walked into a casino with Torts, he'd head right for the roulette wheel.
