[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

This game we obviously had to win. They were on a back to back.
We couldn’t have wrote it any better to start the game that way. There was good momentum going into a tough road trip.
- Marc Staal

I think we are really close to where we were last year, the 2nd half, with close support and the way we play in our own end. It helps us defensively.
It took us a few weeks to get there, but I think we all feel like we are playing a game right now where everybody is helping out and we are all making smart moves out there.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I’m real anxious to see how we’re going to respond.
I think as a group and as a team we’ve been getting better and our game is getting better and it’s a perfect time for us to show it.
- Alain Vigneault

1st team in the Western conference. Going to be hard to go up against Getz and Kesler, reminds me of nightmares of Kopitar and Carter from the SCF. Our depth needs to come through tonight. Freddie is a good goalie, I want good shots and no over passing. LGR

Tough test no doubt about it.

I too would go Talbot tonight and Hank against the Kings. You know he wants that game. Well, he wants both games, but you know what I mean...

Let's see how we match up against the best of the West (is best) conference.

BIG back to back.

If we win these, we will be putting some serious pressure on the Pens and Isles with games in hand on both.

Hopefully they have had enough time to adjust to PST

I want to see their killer instincts. Its time to make their move to the top :yo:

LGR!!!

Weekes' said yesterday that he feels the Rangers are ready to take on the Western Conference trifecta yseterday, that they are playing a solid brand of hockey.

That's good, really good

4.30 AM faceoff in Norway. The agony! I don`t know what to do.

But that's almost perfect! You can just get up early and go to work/school whatever after. It's the 1am and 2am starts which suck the most as can't really get much sleep in before or after the game.

Gotta find a way to abuse their defense, it's simply not that good.

I'm hoping our speed gives their D fits. We need to score off the transition, which luckily is a strength, because battling with their forwards in their zone will be tough.
