[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We want to climb as high as we can in the standings and not be satisfied with eight in a row here.
We have a big, two-game road trip coming up here to end the year and we’d like to get both of them for sure.
- Dan Girardi

It’s a hard thing to do after a break like that and it’s the same for both teams. It’s hard to come and put that consistent effort on the ice.
We were sloppy at times tonight but, for the most part, we did what we needed to do to win.
- Marc Staal

It’s the same for both teams. There was one difference, obviously, with the change that they made. You knew they were going to come out with energy and try and forecheck.
I thought we managed the first five minutes fairly well. then we did what we had to do to win this game.
They’ve got two offensive lines that are really good at puck protection and creating down-low opportunities.
For the most part, we did a fairly good job of limiting them to the outside.
We got a big power-play goal and did what we had to do in the third to shut it down.
- Alain Vigneault

We get the 3 goals Lehtonen's been giving up and there's no reason this streak shouldn't be at 9.

If Glass plays over Miller again, (or Stempniak), we will know AV thinks Glass is undroppable.

I know we are playing our best hockey and our defense and goaltending is excellent but let's not forget this team can score goals with the best of them. Seguin and Benn are beasts. They Are top 10 in scoring but hey we are top 5 ;) .
Just play solid defensive hockey and we should be good
