I'm heading to NYC to see a lady friend...was supposed to go to this game with a buddy but he is taking a lady friend instead. I predict I will have a better experience...

We usually match up well against Montreal for whatever reason. You'd think their speed would burn us. Hopefully we can pick up a win here, assuming it's against Price though.

I don't want to see berubes same stupid lines that he had last year.

PEB-G-Voracek
Read-Couts-Simmonds
Raffl-Vinny-Schenn
Umberger-Jones-Akeson

That's what I'd like to see. The defense is a **** show, so I don't really care what he does. Although this would be what I think would do best

Streit-Schenn
MDZ-Alt
MacD-Ghost

Get rid of grossman. I feel bad for Mason, he has quite possibly the worst defense in the league in front of him. He's already had to bail us out numerous times, I expect much more...

I really don't see Berube putting Bellemare on the 1st line at this point in time.

I want him to stick with Schenn with G and Voracek, even if it sucks for a few games, let them build some sort of chemistry.

Read-Couturier-Umberger looked solid last night, if not as dangerous offensively as that line with Simmonds on it.

I have been fairly impressed with Umberger so far. He makes plays with the puck and does not get caught out defensively.

Yup. He makes the simple, smart plays that more of the roster needs to focus on making. It appears that Couturier is still going to be used in the pure shutdown role, so it's not a bad idea to have someone like that on his wing.

Just play:

Schenn-Giroux-Voracek
Read-Couturier-Simmonds
Umberger-Lecavalier-Raffl
Rinaldo-Bellemare-Akeson

I mean... the bottom three lines looked fine and like they had some kind of chemistry... and he only gave the 1st line 4 friggin periods of hockey to gel, 3 against Patrice Bergeron!

Just ********, now Raffl is on the 1st. Awful.

Amazing how the 4th line does the best job of forechecking and sustaining pressure in the offensive zone.

I want BSchenn to succeed as 1LW, but Giroux and Voracek need to pull themselves together first.

exactly, the 4th line seems to be the only line where it isn't just complete chaos.

I'd replace Raffl for Jones quicker than I'd replace Rinaldo for Jones at this point.

Or better yet, bring up Laughton.

The Flyers absolutely dominated NJ at EV in both shots and chances when you look at it objectively.

Turnovers and ****** D cost us that game... not forward lineups in the Ozone.
