1. Tim Stuetzle plays and stays in the NHL as a 19-year-old

This was already confirm by PD.

2. Brady Tkachuk will sign a long-term contract

Yes, they have to sign him to at least 7 years. This will be a good way for the franchise to bring back the fans.

3. Josh Norris has a 25-point rookie season

I dont expect him to play all 56 games. but if he play 40 games and put up 25 points , i will be more than happy with that.

The Norris one seems kinda bold. I'd be surprised if he gets 25 games let alone 25 points.

He won't have to go through waivers like some other guys. They might send him away to hold onto a guy like Balcers.

It appears Scanner wrote the article before the Stepan and Pacquette trades. It was just published today.

Scanlan said:
Norris should get the opportunity. While the Senators lost Jean-Gabriel Pageau, their best overall centre, at the trade deadline, most of the veteran additions in the off-season were at wing (Evgenii Dadonov, Alex Galchenyuk, Austin Watson) not centre.

With the number of centres on deck, I am not sure if Norris gets to start all games to get 25 points. I doubt he plays top line minutes and gets matched up against McDavid, Matthews, Draisitl, et. al.

2. Stepan bounces back to a solid 2C and we either flip him for a late 1st or extend him for 2 years
3. Wolanin solidifies himself as a good second pair D

1. We have two in running (two in top four) for Caulder

2. Dorion does something most of the fanbase passionately hates by the end of January (but may be good for us in the long run).

3. There is traction somewhere someway for a future stadium in Ottawa proper
