Thank goodness HF didn't exist in 1995 as this game in Dallas ended badly for the Broons.

Fred and Derek were in total shock

Nice to read about Bergy but a part of me almost hopes, even if cleared, he takes a touch more time off, maybe comes back with 5-6 games left giving him even more rest. I`m crazy I understand. As for Dallas, I don`t have a clue what that team is, haven`t watched them this year, go B`s, come out healthy please

I agree with you but selfishly on the other hand I hope he comes back as I miss watching him play.

That man-games lost is freaking insane.

A fairly-called game in which the Bruins don’t lose anyone to injury or suspension, score the first goal, and hold onto the lead for the win would be real refreshing tonight.

Is that too much to ask for though?
Sadly I think it is too much to ask.

NHL refs are incompetent so fair isn’t happening.

Let’s just hope for an injury free game along with a win in spite of the poor reffing.

Hope the Providence Bruins can do their part to knock Dallas out of the playoffs. Having said that, Benn, Seguin and Klingberg will probably combine for 8+ points and we'll lose in OT again.

Pretty sure I read in an interview that it would be a 7-10 day recovery.

If all goes well I think we see him back for the Jets game.
This is from 3/20:

The 32-year-old forward is walking with a bit of a limp and says the issue now is making sure the cut does not get infected. Backes - who made the trip due to previously scheduled family arrangements in the city he called home for 10 seasons with the Blues - did not skate during Tuesday's practice, but expects to be back in action sometime over the next 5-10 days.

"Just for the wound to heal so we don't have an infection which persists and creates a bigger injury," said Backes. "It's a little sore, feels like a Charlie horse, but whenever the docs say it's OK, as far as this being closed up enough, then it should be fine. I don't know if that's five days, seven days, 10 days, probably somewhere in that realm I'll be back functional again."

So, if all goes well, it's looking like he'll be back sometime between Sunday vs the Wild (doubtful) and next Saturday against the Panthers.

Why is Adam out ? Is he ??

At this point I think that it's just a rumor or that McQ gets hurt playing rough and tumble so much that we're used to it. In the last game in St. Louis I think he took a nasty hit so people here are nervous.
