A list of things I know about the game tonight:

- I may or may not watch
- Patrick Kane will probably score
- Jonathan Toews has been underwhelming
- The Minnesota Wild have been underwhelming
- Lockerroom Drama
- Dumba + Coyle = The Future
- Ex-Buffalo players aren't the answer
- Most people will opt to watch March Madness over this game
- Parise's most likely playing injured
- Dubnyk's starting

A place.
This team has major issues. They look a lot closer to falling apart completely than putting it all together.

Take heart Wild fans:

The Hawks have gone 4-7 in the last 11 games, starting with the Wild blowing out the Hawks 6-1 on 2/21. In comparison the Wild have gone 6-5 in their last 11 games. Over that stretch the Hawks have been outscored 34-26 with the PK giving up 9 goals in 38 times shorthanded for a pitiful 76% kill percentage. Also - Crawford is still out so Darling is starting.

Finally some fun facts that are actually fun.

Issuing the first observation: It's amazing to watch Colorado play their tails off almost nightly and then to watch the Wild play with their half-effort so much of the time. The problem is Colorado has such a mediocre roster of talent that they still lose a lot. Based on effort alone, they should be way ahead of us.

Issuing the second observation: The Wild must be one of the most gutless teams in the NHL. What a soft bunch of coddled wimps. Rough up Coyle early and he plays so reticent the rest of the game looking over his shoulder, it's amazing.

Issuing the third observation: Dubnyk has to be one of the worst goalies in the NHL with pucks at his feet. And Kuemper has to be one of the worst mental cases in the league.

The sad thing is, if you listen to the FSN announcers, this team is on the precipice of winning the Cup if we could only get a few of the bounces to go our way.
