I tried to make it down there for the game today, but I won't be able to get out of work until 6pm. Takes about 1.5 hours if I drive real fast from my place to Seattle. And crossing the border is a ball ache as is.

This is our last game in the Pacific Time Zone and our next-to-last game outside of Eastern Time this season (until the SCF, of course). So that's nice.

Just gonna get on my soapbox here and say acknowledging these accomplishments that only look at the regular season, to me, are just stupid.

He's played 899 NHL games and 94 more in the playoffs. That's 993 games in the NHL. Forget about 900 games. Barring injury, he'll reach 1000 overall in the next few weeks. That's a much bigger deal to me. What more - he's closing in 500 overall NHL goals (466 + 32) and just reached 1000 NHL points (929 + 72) against the Blackhawks a week and a half ago.
