Here's the draft order. No doubt I have the odd mistake in there, so if people can let me know what mistakes I've made, I'll correct them well before the draft day comes.

Note that the draft day is Saturday, May 22nd at 3:00 PM EST/Noon PST.

If you wish to make trades, talk about trades with your fellow GM's/Asst. GM's, or just put out your teams' 'feelers', this is the thread to do it.

I will update this thread as we pick on draft day as well. Again, note the rules that you guys will recieve via PM (just sent them off).

I just had a quick question Mizral. Do you want us to try and do what we feel is the best for the organization, or what is most likely that the organization will do?

What you want to do - not what you think the organization will do.

The Chicago Blackhawks are currently trying to trade up into the 12th - 22nd area with two of their 5 second round picks.

Thanks for answering.

On a side note, the Capitals are looking to move up in the draft (be it very high to around 20th). Also we will be listening to offers for the first overall pick.

Thank you,

SwOOsh

I have the 48th pick as being the Rangers' (Kovalev trade). But that's the only thing I see different from my list.

The Ottawa Senators are looking to move up in the draft, with all their picks being available.

Radek Bonk is available, and picks could be part of the return. Patrick Lalime's rights are available for picks or whatever.

Anton Volchenkov....is available for the right price, but it would be an NHL player with youth on his side or a goalie.

Kiwiville.
The Los Angeles Kings are making their 11th pick in this years draft available. They need to either move up in this draft to get a top flight center prospect or trade to get one.

All offers will be considered.

We have no untouchable assets.

Thank you for your time.

I'll just re-state what my Head GM boss, GMGM George McSw00sh has already stated,

the Caps are fielding offers for the best prospect in years!

Though, also looking to move up in the draft...

And if some of you folks need quality goaltending prospects, we might be able to work something out (*cough* Los Angeles *cough*)

And looking for a six pack for Jason Doig (sarcasm)

Askel

By the way Benning should be fired.

We have (not you and I but a couple of Caps fans) been talking about value and such and which of your grand young netters could be had and it always seemed to end up with LA in a position that they would do as well just drafting a goalie at 11th and saving some assets.

We are interested in nabbing Stana or Deigneult from the Caps (Couldn't afford the big O), we have some nice assets inlcuding loads of depth on defence. Have a peek at our list and then ask and I will give you an honest accounting of value in a deal. No homer nonsense from me.

Chicago only has 4 2nd round picks --not 5 (unless you believe that the comp pick for Chris Simon will be a 2nd rounder--I don't think it will be that high--probably a third rounder),and even if that comp pick was a 2nd rounder--it would not be as high as 48 but probaly near the end of the round...

Just an update on the Capitals situation, I may not make the draft day so instead of risking it I have changed positions with Burke's Evil Spirit who is now the head gm and I'm an assitant along with Chimeara, Number67, and BigEasy.

The Rangers will also receive the compensation pick Edmonton will receive for losing Brian Leetch which should be in the early 40's-Petr Nedved trade

Also, the Rangers could receive a second round compensatory pick #46 if they do not sign RJ Umberger

Since compensation picks aren't ironed out by the NHL yet, I'm not doing 'em.
