Somehow they feed off playing the top teams but can't find any energy against the teams lower in the standings. Maybe time to get them some mental coaching.

If you look around every team's individual board, you'll see fans say this all the time. We're just an average team that is going to look great some nights and awful others. I don't buy into playing up or down to your opposition over an 82 game schedule, minus the rivalry games against the Penguins and Rangers.

They played way down every player not including ghost to clb. G looked not bad but not the same as the past two weeks.

I might be the only one but I would love to see Bellemare on a line with Giroux. Plus, it is time to bring Voracek back up and get his minutes in. Bellemare/Giroux/Voracek would have potential.

Either way it is difficult for the Flyers because of all the dead cap with Vinny/Umby/MacD. Hartnell was still looking good and has been still getting his goals.

I'd fully support that. Raffl had success with those 2 next year because he dug pucks out of the corner and banged in rebounds.

Peb is quicker, has a better shot and better hands then raffl so it could be really good.

ANDREW MacDONALD RECALLED
Prior to the team’s practice on Monday morning, Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced that the club has recalled defenseman Andrew MacDonald from their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

MacDonald was loaned to the Phantoms just prior to the 2015-16 season, on Oct. 6, and has appeared in 23 of the team’s 24 games where he has recorded 12 assists and 13 points to go along with a plus-4 rating and 18 penalty minutes. His 12 assists rank second on the Phantoms defense, while his 13 points are fifth on the overall team.

MacDonald also appeared in three preseason games for the Flyers, recording one assist, before being loaned to the Phantoms. He played 58 games for the Flyers last season, recording 12 points (2g-10a) and blocking a total of 86 shots.

So now Schenn is getting the Voracek treatment? Why not just use the lines from the start of the season?

So now we bury Schenn with the 4th line?

What is going on? Just put the 4th line back together, play Laughton with Schenn and Umberger and do what you can to figure out how to replace umberger. Maybe recall Leier or cousins.

This is pretty much Berube-logic

According to Voracek, post-practice today, he will remain in one of the bottom lines despite the changes at today's practice but ultimately that is the coach's decision.

They may not be getting played like a 4th line but when 2/3 of the line are 4th liners I'm still going to call it the 4th line. It just so happens that we have two 4th lines right now.

we have 2 4th lines and 2 2nd lines.

That G line isnt a 1st line at all. besides Gagner who was a HS in the begining of the year everyone is healthy again. Go back to the lines from begining of the year or keep the coots line and throw everything in a hat and figure it out. You have your top 2 guys playing with inadaquite players

Raffl and Schenn were compliments to G and Jake. Them together doesnt give G support or much option. Jake is playing with grinders. it is so stupid to me
