[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I think, as a group, our focus was really good. We knew the importance of this game.
But you see how fast the game can change if you let your guard down a little bit, especially against a good team.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I’m at the part of my career, 30 years old, where consistency is a point of pride for me in my game, it’s what I’m striving for.
It’s important for me to provide that to this team.
- Rick Nash

I don’t know if anyone saw Klein's ear there, but he lost a piece of it and they sewed it back on.
Say what you what you want about hockey players, but they are tough SOBs.
- Alain Vigneault

Not a favorable gamestart for the Scandinavia fans...

4 in the morning....

I might just catch the replay 5 hours later...

Was really thinking of making the 2.5 hour trip from Seattle to see the game tonight. Ended up making my wife give me the tickets she bought for the Arizona game on Valentine's Day to talk me out of it . I guess I ruined the surprise..

Vrbata away from the Sedins is just as sweet as the 4am start.

Vrbata is usually my go to guy in DraftKings. Dude gets the puck on his stick and it's towards the net just as quick. It's insane how many shots he puts on goal

So happy that we have a game to watch. Feels like it's been forever since Klein lost part of his ear ;)

Kreider's going to kick it in the ass tonight. He'll be off the fourth line by the beginning of the 2nd period

not gonna lie. i do like the look of this lineup. 4 lines that can roll.

i like our speed. and i like the 3 d pairs all healthy. hopefully av plays all 6 dmen.

NO GIRARDI ON THE PP PLS !!!

i feel good about this one but van is a very solid team. very dangerous forwards. ryan miller doesn't frighten me though. should be a fun game.

LGR. lets start a streak on a west coast road trip. come together as a team and start winning.

:handclap:

Really hope tonight we see McDonagh take another step forward. Henrik too. Those two were good in Pittsburgh, but we all know they have another level (or 20!)

This maybe a normal regular season game to the players but to us fans it is not. We need the Rangers to win tonight and more than two points are at stake. We need them to win so Tanner Glass remains scratched.

Not too happy about the 9:30 start time but oh well; this is the beginning of the end for Tanner Glass:nod: Kreider says he doesnt need anybody to send him a message, we'll see big fella. LGR!

Hopefully. Hansen does well with the twins and they'll probably still have Vrbata planted at the hashmarks on the #1PP unit.

I see him as a lesser Hags when he have played on the top unit here, effective but not really that dangerous. But you had a chair tonight at that corner tonight right? Why not try to distract him with a sign with his mom in a sexy Santa outfit? :naughty:

Playing in front of one of the strongest defensive teams in the league to start the year and his sv% is .905......

What you aren't looking at is that when he is good, he is good.... when he isnt playing well he isnt playing well

in his 6 losses his SV% is

.917
.714
.862
.783
.818
.615

and in his last 6 wins
.880
1.000
1.000
.960
.875
.875

there was also a time from October 23rd to November 6th
where he was 7-0
with a 0.934 Average SV%
giving up an average of 1.714 goals per game in that time

aha ... ahahahaha ...

Haven't seen a game in like 10 games. Definitely feel the pain. And now I see, that after 5 days without a game, we play in ****ing Vancouver at ****ing 10 PM ET!!! That's 4 AM here. That would be no problem at all if I hadn't have to go to the university tomorrow at 9 AM for a seminar. (Yes, we do seminars on sunday ... le sigh)

3. possibilities:

1. Skip game, wake up early, go to class.
2. Stay up, watch the game, skip class.
3. Stay up, watch game, go to class and die at some point from cardiac arrest.

In any case LGR !!!!
