A concern for me is that this is the 3rd game in 4 nights and we're on a back to back. This group has high energy but that fact coupled with our struggles with bad teams could spell a long game for us if we don't focus and limit the turnovers in our own end.

That's all that's giving us hope right now

Our entire 2nd line (Pouliot-McDavid-Yakupov) is injured.

Expect us to dominate one period, start one period well and stink the 2nd half, and look like a pack of puppies chasing our tails in one period. Which period is which changes on a game-by-game basis, it's a fun new adventure every game!

Saving graces: Hall+Draisaitl combo, Anders Nilsson, #1 goalie, and Darnell Nurse are all playing very well. Our bottom 6 actually did something useful last game, which was a nice change up. Jujhar Khaira, the kid that kind of looks like Ramathorn from Super Troopers, is playing pretty well in a 4th line role.

In short: Not the face, and don't hurt Hall or Drai.
