[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

There's always something that happens during the game when we lose the lead. Just make a little mistake and the puck ends up in our net.
It kind of deflected off my skate. Couldn't help that it went right to him for a breakaway. Kind of a broken play, kind of lucky. It is what it is.
- Derick Brassard

We were in control of that game, I thought, halfway through. We gave up two goals within seconds, or a minute, I don’t know what the time span was.
If you give up a goal, you’ve got to find a way, the next guys to go out there, to bear down and stop the bleeding and we gave up that 2nd goal so that’s a game we gave away.
Why? I don’t know the answer to that. We wouldn’t be doing this. We’re just not getting consistency out of everybody. Nobody knows why.
- Dan Boyle

It’s still a 2-2 game in a tough building to play. We forced them into some penalties, and our PP had the chance to tie it up for us and they didn’t get it done.
At the end of the day, this game is about results and we didn’t get the results that we needed to get.
- Alain Vigneault

They really need to show up today and get back on track.

Going to be optimistic and say Hank only lets in one for a 4-1 win. Nash, Boyle, MSL, and Hags with the empty net, though I think Fast will have a good game, too.

Hoping the Pens bring out the best of our guys tonight, and this is the game that leads them on a consistent run.

We're finally fully-healthy. Really need some guys to get back on track and start contributing to their levels. Hopefully this game does it.

It would be nice to see everyone in sync tonight.

Hank, McD, and Nash. As those players go, so goes our team. 2/3 of that trio has been awful to start the season. Turn that around and string together some wins. Pretty pretty please.

Pens are reeling with injuries, but still extremely lethal. Need to come out and play a strong game to beat them. LGR!

Kreider should take a seat regardless of his health. Duclair should slot in. Guy hasn't looked right in a long time. No excuse not to layeth the smackdown tonight. Watch a guy like Jayson Megna score a hat trick though. Sigh...

I agree Kreider should be sat. Something is obviously not right with the guy.

Rangers will be wearing the whites again tonight by the way.

Not sure why they keep doing this. The only reason I could think of is to prop up the NHL Store in the city. Show off these beautiful jerseys (probably the Penguins' awesome thirds) and the Red Wings' home jersey last time and maybe people will want to buy something not Rangers-related at the store.

Yeah idk the exact reason but the Pens have this game listed as the only road game they're wearing their thirds.

Is Duclair out as well, or is AV waiting until later to fully set his lineup?
