Consider only regular seasons for these polls.

As the theme is "best seasons," votes should probably be geared more toward final stat lines and award placements than projections ("best players").

Went with Crosby 19 as he carried that team on his back for a while and 100 points with his 200 foot game.

But to be honest there are 5 or 6 guys with really good arguments (seasons) that could go in this spot.

I also wonder where Connor's current season is going to end up on this list.

Went with Crosby 19 here as 100 points and his 200 foot game was simply outstanding last year.

To be sure though there are about 10 seasons that have an argument here and I also wonder where in the top 10 McDavid's current season is going to slot in here.

He definitely didn't though. The Pens are quite easily a playoff team without Crosby, as is being demonstrated right now.

You do realize that the Pens made the playoffs with 100 points last year and the 8th seed in the East had 98 points right?

We aren't talking about the 20 season here but the 19 season where Crosby carried the team on his back with excellent 2 way play (Malkin and Kessel were 18 and 28 points behind Crosby despite better offensive zone starts and were -19 and -25 compared to Crosby's +18 (on a team that was plus 95 so crosby was really good)

Both Datsyujs 08,09 seasons must be in top 10. Just shows how biased and not knowledgeable a lot of people here are. 97 points while winning Selke and being the most skillful player in the league still loosing this, shows how joke this poll is.

Why should a Selke make up for the significant difference in offensive production, the biggest contribution a forward can provide to his team?

Maybe you should have voted for Datysuk's 09 season in round 5 where you voted for Ovechkin as there were many reasons to do so in that round as well?

The thing is that in this round you have a guy who was more vital to his team and has some 200 foot chops as well.

That being said Datysuk's 08 and 09 seasons did get under rated in these polls.
