Morrow vs FUS was the battle last time, which isn't unexpected. This round should be pretty interesting, though I'm expecting FUS to emerge on top, since I think Pono and Rykov could start to really pick up some momentum.
Those 3 are hard to pick from. Im sticking with last rounds pick of Pono

Lowering the temperature on Rykov. He’s been pointless his last 5 games.

Still encouraging though that he has some production in the KHL as a 18 year old.

I think we overate Pono’s “limits” offensively, especially when comparing to our others. I don’t see Blake as above his skill level. Blake may be a better shooter, that’s about it. Koivunen is an awkward skater, I don’t know that he’s really a more natural scoring prospect at the NHL level than Pono, who’s a pretty good skater. Rykov is a mystery to me at this point.

We keep referring to a lower ceiling with Pono when comparing them all, Im not always convinced it’s there.

A Ponomarev is just a Ponomarev, but a Blake or a Rykov could be anything! They could even be a Ponomarev!

While I love me some Pono, he's just a solid all around player. Blake and Koivunen are both pure snipers. Great shots, accurate shots. That's something Carolina will desperately need going forward.

I don't know enough about blake or koivunen's skating so i'm not talking specifically about them, but i'm always a little iffy on guys that are described as "pure snipers."

Too many times we've gotten hyped over a dude's amazing shot only to find out he'll never make it because he can't do anything else at anything close to the nhl level.

Yes, aleksi saarela broke me.

You lasted that long? Drayson Bowman's wicked wrist shot broke me.

Now I know Bowman still played 179 NHL games as a grinder, but only because we had such a dearth of talent that guys like him actually got to play in the NHL.

Holy crap - he spent so long being a grinder i forgot how hyped his shot was. But, yeah, he's a perfect example of what i'm talking about. Probably never should have gotten more than a handful of games in the league given the rest of his 'tools.'
