[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I’m still annoyed. We need to learn a lesson here. We need to smarten up.
All season we have been finding ways to win, but the last game we found a way to lose, and we almost did it again.
- Henrik Lundqvist

For sure, definitely it’s a weight off my shoulders. But it’s one game, so I’m not getting ahead of myself.
It’s been a tough start for me. Three goals don’t make it all right.
- Rick Nash

We didn’t play real well. They say never critique a win but our goaltender kept us in.
As much as I said after the last game that I liked the way we played, we didn’t play real well tonight.
Our goaltender gave us an unreal performance. There’s no doubt Rick Nash played one of his better games this year.
- Alain Vigneault

Nashville is an interesting team. On paper they never impress me, but they played well last year and to start this year. Top 5 defense and goalie. Will be a tough test.

Wow. I had no idea their center depth was so atrocious.

Gotta bounce back tonight. Their forwards are lacking but our d has been out of wack.

Really not a fan of putting Hayes back at wing, but I guess we'll see how it plays out. I'm hoping the shake up helps everyone (besides the Brass line) get going

We've got better forwards and goalie. Nashville has the better D. Should be a good game and a big test for the team. Nash picked a good time to heat up, with the Preds today and Montreal right around the corner.

Hate it! But guess we have to trust AV knows what he's doing.

Nashville can get very intense, I'm expecting a more physical game from them tonight. Should be an interesting game! LGR!

I would like to see Stoll take a seat and give Etem some time.

Stoll has not been good. Takes horrible penalties, gets caught behind the play constantly, and offers virtually nothing offensively.

I know he wins faceoffs. But 4% difference over Moore at C does not make up for his weak game everywhere else. He's not a drastically better PK'er than others that take his mins.

I dont like Hayes on the wing, but who else can AV put in that spot? Miller and Stalberg have been pretty terrible lately. I mean, you can put Fast there, but Hayes has played better. I guess you can let Etem play for Stoll.

Having a reliable 2nd line RW at some point this season would be nice...

MSL at least did something with his position there. No matter how streaky he was. No one has really been consistently reliable thus far in the role...

It also doesn't help that Kreider isn't doing the best.

Etem and McIlrath will definitely be getting in games in soon since we have like 9 games over the next 15 days. GOAT scheduling NHL.

Good test for us tonight.

Nashville has been Shut Out in each of their last 2 games. 4-0 to the Jackets and 4-0 to the Wild.

How will we handle what is likley an angry Preds team looking to get back on track?

Gonna be a tough one.
