Thank you for the links BB! Always fun to read. That SN article on dealing picks mentioned we have a 3rd from an Eric Brewer deal. Am I missing something here?

Nope. You're bang on and the SN writer (who I've never heard of) is completely wrong. We traded our 3rd to ANH as part of the Fasth deal, which they then flipped to Tampa for Brewer earlier this year. Tampa holds what was originally our 3rd rder.

Sad that the supposed "premiere" hockey provider can't hire writers competent enough to use google or NHL.com.

Edit: I read the other SN article as well. Even Spector can't research things, claiming the Oilers are in the running to "pick 1st overall for the 4th time in 5 years.

2013 - 7th overall
2014 - 3rd overall
