In fairness there are usually a bunch of shitty players on that team (Bordeleau played for them a few years ago IIRC) because no American players care about that tournament. But I do think the rosters will look better this year with Four Nations and Olympics coming up. Bubble guys for those tournaments will want to curry favor with national team brass.

Those didn't happen in SJ either and he didn't play in the World Championships. In fact, the last time he did, was in 2012.
