Can somebody enlighten me why in the literal FRANK is a player looking for an extension after a 13 year deal that he is currently in, and he is currently entering year 5 of said deal at 32 years old?
This dude has to play 3 more years before he passes the half way point of the deal.

And the team is open to talking?

the dude literally signed right before Machado, but didn't get an opt-out, machado did.

and now he is talking about adding another 3 years to his current deal at like $40 million a year, so lets just say another $100 million at 38+ years of age...........the reasoning? Just because.
