Latvia was able to recover after the catastrophic start and stop the bleeding, but the 3-0 goal was decisive. If Latvia scored the 1-2 goal instead it would be a different matter. With 3-0, Canada was comfortably controlling the rest of the game.

Yeah we will likely be seeing Bedard next year, he will do his obligatory Canadian phenom rookie year tour of duty stint at the skodas and then never to be seen again at this tourney.
