This game is yet another reminder that Bloom ball sucks and does not work. Thanks for nothing Henry and Chaim.

Makes sense. If that wasn't the case, he could have been moved by now. Rumored suitors like the Rangers and Angels made some key moves already. Allegedly the Angels made Bloom the same offer for Paxton as they eventually traded for Giolito.

Now you gotta expect Paxton to stay as there are not many desperate teams left. My best and last guess is Philly.

It's a similar situation as last year with Eovaldi (Paxton) and JD (Duvall). The difference is that they are in a more comfortable situation this time, because by being under the luxury tax threshold, they'll get a higher compensation draft pick if/when the player rejects the QO.
