That's a big blow to lose a starting OT in week 1 for the season.

Are we keeping 1 thread to track all injuries that are season-ending? I see another one for Dobbins.

Dobbins an achillies on grass. Conklin an ACL on grass. In case anyone is tracking the grass/turf debate and injuries.

The Packers have 4 starters out today. Aaron Jones (RB), Alexander (DB), Watson (WR) and David Bakhtiari (their Best Offensive Lineman at LT). Elgton Jenkins, the first Guard off the bench, is also out.
Jenkins can play 2 or 3 positions on the offensive line.

The Packers were favored by 1.5 points. Now the Saints are favored by 1.5 points.

Green Bay scored 18 points in the second half to win 18 - 17 over the Saints. The Packers had 2 or 3 new guys playing including one from the Practice Squad.

The Packers should have lost today, but Love pulled it out!

Mike Williams out for the year? Haven’t saw anything official but seems to be rumours. I didn’t see his injury.

Always check the contract of these guys who suffer serious injury and how this will impact them. Williams is owed $20 mill in 2024. $17 mill base and $3 mill bonus which is due in the first week of the new year in March. 2024 is the final year of his contract.

$12.5 mill in dead cap if they cut him. $32.5 mill scheduled cap charge for 2024 currently.

Steelers host the Ravens, then get a bye in week 6. Return from the bye and get the Rams, Jaguars, Titans, and Packers

That is their next 6 weeks. Not the toughest schedule, but on the other hand, might want the tough part of the schedule when your QB is out. Trubisky is the backup, so I don't think the dropoff is that great.

Higgins, that is going to sting the Bengals. With Burrow's calf and the fact that the Bengals haven't shifted more to a run game, is concerning.
