I know it's not the most popular opinion since he receives a ton of crap, even from me, but I think Stillman can carve out an NHL role. Went with him. Add Jocktan Chainey.

I don't understand why Orlov is so slept on in here. He bounced around 3 different leagues last season at 19 years old. He might not have the offense like Muhk does but from what I've read he is a really good skater and sound defensively. Has good size too. According to TheHockeyWriters.com he has top 4 upside if he pans out. That to is more valuable than Bardakov although a player of Bradakov's ilk is much needed in the system so I can understand why you guys value him more.

I've been voting Karpovich for the last 3, but clearly it's not in the cards. I'll switch to Bardakov.

Add Malek.

It's hard to find highlights and insight on him but I have a feeling Guadana will be able to provide us updates on him if he sticks with Spartak Moscow this season in the KHL.

Orlov , Karpovich , Barbosha & Misyul are our Russian/Belarusian dmen with potential. We got Misyul over here when I thought he wasn't going to come over or sign with us. Karpovich will hopefully be here next season. If he develops well than the AHL will be a good challenge for him unless he can somehow get on a CHL team. The good thing is none of these 4 players will be rushed. They all atleaat have size , 2 way ability and some bight to their game. Gotta think 2 of the 4 will be an NHL regular for us at some point and hopefully a good player to pair with Luke , Nemec or Casey in the long run.

Saying a prospect has top 4 upside is extremely vague. I'm a fan of Orlov and think he's trending well but Bardakov is a valuable role player on one of the best teams outside the NHL and plays a style of hockey that is coveted in the NHL.

i’ll be the first to admit that of the 5 Russians currently on the list, Bardakov’s the only one that occupies a separate space in my brain.

add Hauser

I don't think he is. He's probably my next vote. The main issue between Orlov and Bardakov is readiness to play in the NHL (Bardakov is ostensibly ready sooner) and position (Orlov has a lot of folks to beat for a spot).

Was torn between Daws and Stillman. I’m going with Stillman. He obviously does not have a high ceiling, but I think he has the best chance of playing NHL games of the skaters remaining. Daws probably gets some more NHL time too, but his path is much less clear right now.

Bardakov has some nice stats this past season in the KHL. He's 22 already so he needs to get over here soon. Not that 22 is old or anything but he would fit in with this young team age wise.
