Jack Smith is such a generic name for such a generic hockey player. He deserves the award.

Kidney and Trudeau will make the top 10 next season. Those two are underrated.

Also, it will be very interesting to follow the seasons of Konyushkov and Eriksson.

I don't expect many graduations this year (maybe Heineman) so unless Mesar really struggle in the AHL, it's going to be hard to crack the top 10, especially since we'll be adding another 1st rounder.

I don't see it at all.

It is a travesty imo that they were put ahead of Struble and especially ahead of Kapanen. I expect both of them to surpass him in these rankings as I guarantee you Hughes and Gorton have them easily ahead of Kidney and Trudeau right now. There also may not be a single graduate from this list so he won't move up by attrition. It is also hard to see Trudeau moving up as he is buried at LD and is neither big or fast or particularly great at anything. I like both Trudeau and Kidney as they are both smart players but both are NHL longshots with this organization.

Kidney and Trudeau both look an awful lot like career minor leaguers. Trudeau is more likely imo to have an NHL career than Kidney but I think Kidney has the higher upside with a really low floor. Hopefully they prove me wrong, especially Kidney as Trudeau is just sooo redundant due to the LD depth.

I don't think they look like career minor leaguers, but it is still the most likely outcome for a lot of players. Trudeau has progressed a lot, Kidney has had incredible offensive sequence and showed he was a lot more confident in himself than I thought. So yeah, both are smart players with good iq. Can't count them out.
