I've been burned the last two games I attended because "all arena give away" or the ever popular "all fans in attendance will receive..." doesn't actually mean that. It means the first 10K through the door. Usher cleared that up for me. "The first 57% of maximum capacity will receive..." doesn't have the same ring to it.

I don’t believe they actually had 10k walk through the doors for any game last year.

I was hoping to attend a few games this season only to find that they have no home games on the one day of the week I can get down to the tank on time, not counting the one Friday I have to work due to the nature of my job.

True. But I'd love it if the old NHL.tv setup came back. It may have cost more but in my mind the product was much better (fewer hassles and such). No use complaining now, though, as we're stuck with this setup for some time yet.
