every time i look at the vancouver roster and wonder how they are near the top of the standings.

Their top guys are performing like top guys are supposed to mostly, depth is ok if not stellar. Don't use the word PDO around them though, they're touchy about being able to sustain 25% shooting and .950 goaltending

Also Soucy is the secret ingredient, I'm still grumpy they've got him.

I don't know. I look at Vancouver's roster and see a good team. They have Pius Suter centering their 4th line. That's good depth.

I felt the same way about both Vancouver and Winnipeg last year. I would look at their rosters and see a lot of good players and wonder why they were doing so poorly in the standings.

mostly injuries really

some underperformance

i had them as a wild card before the season when the main board had them pegged for black hole, definitely didn't expect them to be top of the conference is all

We have fully embraced the PDO mantra and I expect more than a few jerseys will be rockin that nameplate come playoff time.
Sadly for the rest of the league our PDO has dropped a lot and we now have become a top team in shot suppression and defence..

PS, all of Vancouver will be kings fans when you guys inevitably play the oilers round 1

Thatcher demko, jt miller, elias petterson all having tremendous years. Demko being hurt right now is really going to cost them if he's out for a month+. Presently week to week. Casey de smith is an average backup but is playing no where close to demko's level.
Also the last i saw of em, canucks looked like a physically tired team.

That 11/7 lineup is gonna bite them in the ass

The amount of girls that thirst over this guy on Twitter is insane. I don’t get the appeal. The suit can only do so much.

I'd say he's a conventionally attractive dude. Problem being the Kings needed a high end 2C for the kind of money we gave him, not a pretty boy. But yeah, add in the 6'4 stature and the puck bunnies never stood a chance

I guess I should add I don't know if puck bunnies is a derogatory term these days. Just meant girl hockey fans who thirst over the players. Nothing really wrong with that
