Anyone could tell you that PLD’s lack of points were heavily misleading and due to other people f***ing up. HOWEVER his point total mirrors his lack of effort. It is oddly appropriate. You don’t get to be such a big minus player by playing hard.

Roy is really damn good... need to make some room for Clarke what the F can be done?
Clarke starts in Ontario, learning how to play as a pro on the defensive side of the puck with big minutes.

He is an injury recall if needed and / or you make moves before the deadline if he is no longer a defensive liability.

Roys resigning is very important.

Can't imagine the Kings doing much without him.

Any RFA's that don't wanna come to terms can sit out.

Byfield playing well but taking too many penalties and not racking up many points.

All the better for a lower bridge contract.

Or playing with legit top 6 wingers.

Any update on Turc’s. ? Looks like he went off to the Locker room after getting hit along the wall. Didn’t see if he took a shift afterwards.

You’re hitting the bong way too hard if you think the Kings are closer to winning the cup with Faber when Clarke hasn’t amounted to anything on the Kings yet. Chances are Faber might have failed on this team. Kings threw Sean Walker away and he got traded for a first round pick a few weeks ago and the fans who got him are more than happy with him. It’s a Kings problem. To assume Faber wouldn’t fall victim to this regime when almost every player besides Byfield and Vilardi have. Not only that, the last high end Dman the Kings have developed was Voynov. Let’s stop pretending that Minnesota Faber was going to be the same guy on the Kings.

Kings leading point producer is who the Kings got. Id be more upset we didn’t get a first for Walker when the Kings threw him away. They can’t develop shit and Walker is the recent entry in a long list.
You've got the energy for Fiala like the guy that's ecstatic he married the stripper because she's "hot" only to be shocked when six months later she's banging your neighbor and your savings account is empty. That's fine, you do you.

Fiala's "fun" to watch but like I said, Kings aren't winning shit with him. They had a much better chance of getting somewhere with a young player that would be with them for a decade plus than a shiny toy that'll be broken and thrown in the closet sooner than later, but hey at least he's leading the Kings in points this year, straight to the black hole. You also got deez nutz liking your post so that should tell you something.

It's funny, back under the Sutter Kings we'd blow games vs. lottery teams all the time, but would play well vs. great teams at least, and end up somewhere int he 90 pt range

Now it's like they can obliterate the non-playoff teams and can't beat a playoff team save once in a blue moon

I think I'm going to head over to kings reddit and make a post asking why the Kings didn't just simply play this way against Dallas

It wasn't cookie night

not much to say about this one, since it was against a glorified AHL team.

Do wonder if Hiller gives them tonight off on account of playing last night?

Just the new Cernak. Moulson. Kulakov or whatever the f*** his name is.

If you like comparing Pavel Rosa to Ziggy Palffy, sure, those are all the same thing.

Franchise cornerstone, Calder contender, very likely a future Norris candidate AND a first round pick for a second liner whose effect never comes close to reaching his skill set.

This is one of the very worst trades in franchise history.

Kevin Fiala leads this team in scoring right now. He had 72pts last year in 69 games. This won't even reach top 10 in worst trades especially with PLD on this roster. We don't know Brock's future but he's not outpacing Fiala's usefulness right now. I know you're completely in love with Brock, but please try to be a little rational.

If Fiala shows up for the playoffs, I'll give him some grace, but even then coughing up a cost controlled 15-20 year top pairing right-handed dman is an ugly trade now matter how you slice it.

Right now Fiala hasn't given us anything Andreas Athanasiou hasn't, he's just one sereis-losing handoff to McDavid short from being that guy. Fortunately for him PLD may just beat him to it, it's a coin flip, and would be a fun prop bet.

"points to the exclusion of all else" is the polar opposite of "toughness that can't play" and just as useless and the Kings have both!
