Gonna start a series of polls were we do the 2023-24 MVP for each team.

First off, San Jose!

Main candidates...

Mikael Granlund
- leading point producer, currently a 14 point gap over 2nd place.

Tomas Hertl
-Dude is still 3rd in points and goals despite playing 15+ less games than most of the cast. 2nd best PPG and leading GPG on the team.

Fabian Zetterlund
-Leading goalscorer and 2nd best point producer on team. 4 goal gap over 2nd place.

Makenzie Blackwood and Kaapo Kahkonen.
- their stats are not pretty, but somehow, these guys aren't dead last in sv%. Heck, they aren't even bottom 10 for goalies with more than 20+ games despite the team being dead last in GA/GP. They've done a valiant job.

Mario Ferraro and Jan Rutta
Only defenseman on the team that have played 50+ games. Both in the 60s. I'm only assuming they deserve a mention.. but I know next to nothing about these guys.

Any San Jose fans wanna chime in?

I'm assuming Zetterlund votes are from users who actually watch San Jose since Granlund has a large point gap over him. Is he really good defensively or something?

He contributes everywhere as does Granlund. I’d say Granlund is is more skilled and more of a play driver though

Regarding value of on-ice contributions, perhaps Granlund or Zetterlund. From a pure player value standpoint, Eklund has shown he is a part of the future core by proving that belongs in the League (not that there was much doubt about that to begin with).

So, one of the Lunds.

The MVP is the Sharks fans for sticking with this team through a terrible season for a fan. I hope you guys win the draft lottery to make it worth something
