As @habsprospects mentioned, Volokhin is no longer listed on the Mamonty Yugry MHL roster. I just looked at their VHL affiliate's website (HC Yugra) and he is listed on their roster. They have 4 goalies listed on their roster on the website now.

I say that because HC Yugra is playing @ 10AM ET. Although I don't expect Volokhin to play (maybe back-up or maybe not dressed). But we'll see.

Looks like Volokhin may be back in the MHL as the flyers prospect who was the backup in the VHL, went down and played 1 game and now he is back in the VHL as the back up today. So I assume he's been sent back to the MHL.

Saw half of the third period and the OT. He had the two best opportunities to win it for his team. Looks like he plays in all situations (PP/PK) so that bodes well for his development.

Nice play by Alexander Gordin on the goal so I thought I would add it in, his assist was a nothing burger so i didn't add it.

I watched the game, the goal against was a really nice finish. What I liked most was they came back to the glove side and he responded with a huge glove save.

Was good in the shootout but got beat on the same move twice, caught loading before the move and beat five hole.

Nice play by Alexander Gordin on the goal so I thought I would add it in, his assist was a nothing burger so i didn't add it.

He's got a wide stance once they get in close and gets low.

It seems he determines how close they are and the probability that they're going high is low, as it would be hard to raise it the fast/close and have it hit the net, so he goes for the percentage play and spreads out and hopes the shot going on either side he'll get a piece and if it goes low, he seems to hope he can get there faster, but got burned twice.

Or he does it in anticipation of a deke

watched some of Volokhin, he let in 3 goals, 1st one not much he could do, the 2nd was on a 2 on 1 and the 3rd a point shot on the PP, he didn't get set as he was looking around players trying to find the puck and once he did and dropped down it just got threw his legs. Didn't see the 4th goal.
