The streams have been awful. Felt like I was watching 480i. I remember them being better in the past. Anyone have different experience? No interest in purchasing with such poor stream quality.

I've been watching on my laptop via home wifi from our cable service (relatively low speed). I have encountered occasional buffering-like pauses & skips, but the audio/video quality have been OK otherwise. Maybe my standards are low for such products, because I stream a lot of minor pro & juniors hockey services that are nothing like NHL-quality products. I've actually enjoyed listening to some of the set-up crews trying to get the audio feeds sorted out pre-game. Issues like that will smooth out, it's opening weekend & support staffs turn over in summer.

This year's Freeview is a wrap. Fun while it lasted, back to regularly scheduled PPV starting Wednesday 10/18.
