Rookie that hasn't played a single pro game? I'm gonna have to go with no. I know most aren't happy with his D but people forget that he had a career high in goals last season. Until or unless someone surprises out of the gate he's still a good veteran option while Quinns out.

You don't think someone like Kulich wouldn't be a alright fit or Rousek?

You don't think a rookie can't show up and out at preseason and earn that spot? If Olofsson was gone and you told the players a spot was open. The competition would be fierce.

I don't get your mentality at all on the subject, at some point a rookie will have to play pro games.
