"I think the Lightning saw a lot of the same qualities that they see in Nick Perbix," SCSU coach Brett Larson said, referring to the former Huskies defenseman. "Clarkie is a big, smooth skating defenseman with good hockey sense and hands. A lot like Nick. When (Clark) develops physically, I think he'll be a big-time prospect."

What's your excuse?
Hey guys, I live in Steinbach and watched A LOT of Pistons games this year - Clark was by far the best defenseman on their roster as an 18-year-old on a championship team.

Super calm with the puck. Always looked natural and comfortable with the puck on his stick, especially on the PP - Used his reach well as a defender, but is obviously not used to being one of the bigger players on the ice. If he fills out to his frame, and develops the physical side of the game, he could be legit.

Zach Whitecloud spent most of his development in the MJ, which is growing into a pretty nice little development league.
