The Canadian Government and the IIHF are a bunch of joke with their stupid protocols.

It would be the Alberta government who have probably been the most lax province in regards to covid regulations. Health care is provincial jurisdiction.

Anyway, this sucks. I'm gutted for all the players, especially the ones that age out, and I'm selfishly gutted for myself who misses so much good hockey now. This tournament is the highlight of this time of year for me and it sucks the IIHF planned it so poorly. Fingers crossed they can somehow redo it in the summer but with so many other commitments I'm not hopeful.

Anyway, at least we can be happy that McTavish looked amazing compared to his peers. Looking like a really good pick.
