Might as well have a fresh thread for the playoff series and I can't guarantee I'll be around for most of the rest of the day and tomorrow morning before game time.

The listed schedule for the series is:

Game 1: Friday @ 4pm ET/1pm PT - Luis Castillo vs Alek Manoah
Game 2: Saturday @ 4pm ET/1pm PT - Pitchers TBA
Game 3: Sunday @ 2pm ET/11am PT - Pitchers TBA (If necessary)

All 3 games are in Toronto. Pitchers for the 2nd and 3rd games haven't been announced but from what I've seen the expectations are that the Mariners would probably use Robbie Ray and Logan Gilbert (or possibly George Kirby) while the Jays would counter with Kevin Gausman and Ross Stripling.

I wish we had some more killer mentality on the Leafs like Manoah has.

Start off strong boys get that all important game one win tomorrow night.

Its Kikuchi time! Espinal is back.

Zimmer didnt make it. And neither did Gurriel.

Mariners have a lot lefties

Their playoff roster has 4 lefties with OPS of .686, .675, .612, and .534. They have 3 switch hitters with OPS of .774, .693, and .563. That's 1 of their best 5 hitters and a bunch of below average hitters. The 1 good hitter is a switch hitter than hits better against Lefties. I also wouldn't trust Kikuchi against any of them in a playoff game that's within 5 runs. If they put Gage on the roster for that reason sure. Kikuchi is there to burn innings if we're down 8-0 in game 1 or 2. Zimmer to pinch run or defensive replacement is better at both than Bradley, and having both of them when Gurriel is not available makes way more sense to me.

No idea why we claimed Zimmer back from Philadelphia if he wasn't going to be a playoff bench player. That's literally his only use to a major league team.

Ticket prices for today's game on the secondary market have seemingly taken a fair tumble, with some tickets on StubHub in the 500 level close or less to what they cost on Ticketmaster...

As of right now, there are tickets in row 15 of the 500 level going for less than $80/CDN. This was around $120 yesterday...

A healthy number of tickets in the 500-level is also available on Ticketmaster for Game 3 on Sunday too..
