I cannot see Philly beating Houston but maybe if Houston wraps it up tomorrow and Philly is say pushed to a game 6 somehow Houston might get rusty

They probably wont, but they will take a game off them at least if they advance. Wheeler and Nola are just as good as Verlander/Framber. The Astros middle relief will probably be the difference. But the Braves and Nationals were heavy underdogs too. So that is why you play the series.

It is just f***ing stupid the Phillies got both these games and in THIS bullpen game they didn’t need Alvarado or Seranthony.

That is just an insane advantage the Phillies have tomorrow.

No more Sean Maneae this postseason please Melvin.

The guy posted the worst ERA of his career and the 2nd worst WHIP of his career, and this is after starting the season as the hottest pitcher in baseball. He's cooked.

LOL I am pretty sure they intended to walk him there on 3-0 and Darvish just threw a bad slider. I don’t think on 3-0 you throw a slider unless you fully intend to put the runner on

I saw this same exact scenario 14 years ago in a game 5 and the Mlb refused to stop playing. Screwed the Phillies both times in pouring rain.

They wouldnt have started a game in weather like this. Good job Rob.
