WIll be interested to see the Cards rotation in this series and potentially going forward. Wainwright clearly has not earned a start with his performance this year.

Cards in 2. Phillies really aren't that great.

Which sucks for this Braves fan. Cards have owned the Braves in the post season for a long time.

Never liked the Cards but let’s give the geriatric trio one last run… like not WS run… but go ahead and beat the Phillies

You know Cardinals being Cardinals... never bet against them.

Phillies has some crazy good guys in the rotation but other than that the lineup is fairly mediocre.

Cardinals in 2.

Wheeler has owned the Cardinals and goes in game 1. Nola, then Suarez if needed in Game 3.

Cards have now released Game 1 as Quintana and Game 2 as Mikolas. 3 is still TBD

Wheeler hasn't pitched much since coming back from injury. Which might mean nothing, but I would be a little wary of that if I was a Philly fan. Might mean nothing, might mean that the bullpen is pitching six innings at the start of a three game series.

Nola also got smacked around by the Cardinals this year and Suarez doesn't scare me as a lefty.

Phillies aren't really that good, Cardinals are better than you think. They have good pitching, and with the middle of that lineup, they're hitting is quite good. Plus they have that Pujols factor that they're playing for. Cardinals in 2.

Anyone know how MLB gets away with non-weekend matinée playoff games? I can’t imagine NBA and NHL doing this.
NHL got roasted when they had that insane Avalanche/Stars Game 7, which I think was a Friday afternoon. And that was in the bubble where it was perfectly reasonable.

With this, I think it's just...this is how baseball's always been.

Wheeler really should not be in this game anymore at 86 pitches
