I’m starting to think that the Preds may end up taking a forward this year. If Forsberg doesn’t resign, we have a huge hole to fill on the wing so adding a good winger prospect along with the few we have would probably be ideal. That said I really like a lot of the defenseman in this draft and if we got Mateychuk I would be thrilled.

I have a feeling that Seattle will take Nemec and the Oilers won't be taking a small d-man, a position they are bursting at the seams with in the system, so I'd say Ohgren or Miroshnichenko.

Seattle is the toughest one to predict, I could see them going with Slavkosky, Savoie or one of the two RD.

Connor Geekie is also a good choice and they do already have his brother with them.

Geekie would be a huge reach at 4. Guy shouldn’t be higher than 13ish but will likely be taken higher due to size.

Flyers aren't taking a defenseman, especially after Schmuck Felcher said that they want a young player who can step into the lineup as part of the 'aggressive retool'. Honestly, if Slafovsky isn't there when they pick, it won't surpass be if they take Savoie or move down to get more assets. That would be a typical Schmuck thing to do.

I mean Savoie is my number 2 forward in the draft so taking him isn’t a bad thing.
