For God's sake JBB hold onto that '22 1st rounder for dear life. Waiting til the 5th round to pick ain't gonna do us any good bruh.

Trade Palat's UFA rights for something next year

Goodrow's UFA rights went for a 7th. TB seemed unable to move Savard and Coleman's (or they'd probably have done so).

They're nice if you know you're going to lose a guy, but a UFA Palat isn't going to bring that much.

These are the days bro. Not tomorrow.

Touche

I'm on a heel power trip hoping that with a few picks down the road we can still keep the tears and salt coming for years and not just ending at a potential threepeat. I don't think this board could handle us winning it like 5 times in 7 years like the Oilers did.

"2022 hype draft"

We all know JBB trading that 1st round pick this deadline. and we don't even have a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. No hype necessary as we won't even be apart of this draft

I guess we do have two 7th round picks :sarcasm:

hockej.cz was working without a vpn for me for the USA-CZE game earlier. RUS-SWE looks good too.

The gold medal game is pulling crazy numbers. It's going to pass 23k concurrent viewers for a non-English U-18 hockey game.

Russia Hockey is co-streaming on their page with another 6.5k.

Finland and Sweden are also playing right now.

B ranked Seamus Casey was born in Miami.
C ranked Tyler Duke is Dylan's brother.
Max Namestinkov is Vlad's younger brother.
Stacey Roest's son Austin is another C ranked prospect right now.

Last year we didn't have that many good meme names. Looks like we're getting a good crop this time.

Slated for March 23 at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, the 2022 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game showcases the top-40 CHL players eligible for the 2022 NHL Draft from across the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

If the Bolts hold onto their 2022 1st round pick, it'll most likely be used on one of the players seen here at the CHL prospects game. Murray and co have selected a CHL player first in 10 of their 11 drafts. 7 of our 8 1st rounders have also been from the CHL - Vasilevskiy being the exception.

Namestnikov: 1st rd - 2011 / OHL
Koekkoek: 1st rd - 2012 / OHL
Drouin: 1st rd - 2013 / QMJHL
DeAngelo: 1st rd - 2014 / OHL
Stephens: 2nd rd - 2015 / OHL
Howden: 1st rd - 2016 / WHL
Cal Foote : 1st rd - 2017 / WHL
Fortier: 2nd rd - 2018 /QMJHL
Nolan Foote: 1st rd - 2019 / WHL
Finley: 2nd rd - 2020 / WHL
Schmidt: 3rd rd - 2021 / US NTDP

...we would like to wish Ivan Miroshnichenko the very best in his recovery from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. From a pure talent perspective he is a deserving top 10 pick in this draft class. Health issues and his passport now make him a questionable first-round pick and there is an expectation there will be more clarity on his health situation as we inch closer to July 7.
Here’s just a few of the many questions to be answered in regards to the plight of Russian players moving forward as it pertains to the draft: Will there be visa issues in Canada or the U.S? Will organizations fear fan backlash for selecting Russian players? Will the players themselves feel comfortable coming over to North America?

With all that in mind, I would expect Russian players in this draft class to slide considerably
Some names Sam Cosentino has ranked towards the end of the 1st round:

25. Owen Pickering - LD | Swift Current / WHL
26. Nathan Gaucher - C | Quebec / QMJHL
27. Rutger McGroarty - LW | US NTDP / USHL
28. Adam Ingram - F | Youngstown / USHL
29. Luca Del Bel Belluz - C | Mississauga / OHL
30. Liam Ohgren - LW | Djurgardens IF / SHL
31. Lian Bichsel - LD | Leksands IF / SHL
32. Michael Buchinger - LD | Guelph / OHL

HM: Ivan Miroshnichenko
Next to impossible to assess his placement due to his Hodgkin’s Lymphoma diagnosis. With all things being equal and based on the last assumption of when he was playing healthy at the U18s, he is definitely a top 10 talent.

Del Bel Belluz, Gaucher, Buchinger, and Pickering will all be at the CHL Top Prospects game on Wednesday
