That's especially impressive since goalie prospects, equipment trainers, and pet rocks often get listed at "center." Now, including Gauthier, which of these 3 are you reasonably certain is a projectable center? None?

It makes the Frost situation that much more interesting. You have term in Hayes and Couturier, but remove Frost from the equation, which I have no doubt is under loose discussion, and it's a wasteland.

Desnoyers is a small winger that’s not overly good at skating and doesn’t possess the puck good enough to be a force at the NHL level.

If I learned anything from the finals, is that speed and above average skaters are not needed in the NHL

Flyers should just come clean about Ellis and move him to one of these teams that love fake contracts.
