How do we get Stapley back on this list?

Do a separate poll asking where Stapley should be slipped in and slide him in accordingly?

I'd have him somewhere between 36 and 39 on this list.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Stapley is only signed with Laval on a one way AHL
He not considered as "in the System" or as habs prospect,
he just a signed AHLer, no?

EDIT: just saw @Harry Kakalovich say the same thing 👍

No he's signed to an AHL deal so he's not an NHL prospect at the moment

Xavier Simoneau is only signed to an AHL deal, same with RHP his first year. Also, many prospects are not signed to either AHL or NHL deals.

This list is of prospects whose rights we hold, not what type of deal they have or haven't signed.

But Both those guys you mentioned were drafted as over agers and so signed AHL deals with one more year of Habs holding their rights (CHL drafted players the team owns the rights for 2 years). The Habs do not own Stapley's rights. Therefore he is not a Habs prospect.

Now that he signed an AHL deal, we hold his rights. I mean, another NHL team can't just come along and sign him to an NHL deal, no?

Actually they can, if you read the last paragraph in the link it deals with this scenario. Also Stapley is not part of the Habs 50 Contract limit. He is essentially not directly a part of the Habs organization (although they may invite him to pre-season stuff).

Pronman was on 690 other day had Tourigey #9 prospect list.

A 5"8 overage 7th round pick. I cant see it

Pronman is famous for putting raw offensive skills above everything else.

If Tourigny was really #9, he would not be going back to junior for an overage season.

Nice list folks! Pretty amazing that the organization has so many legit prospects. I'm pretty sure a few are going to break out... and I'm 100% sure a few will not live up to expectations... just don't ask me who's who just yet.
