Do we still own his rights? 🤣

All prospects we have rights to are in the poll.

We lost Missiaen rights in 2010.
He got scooped up by NYR at the end of 2010-2011 and was in their system until 2015. The highlight of his time there was being the backup on the bench a few times in the NHL in 2013-2014 (did not play).
After that, he played 1 year in Poland (same team Cichy joined for the PO that year) and 1 year in France.

He retired at the end of the 2016-2017 season. Currently works with the Vital Hockey Skills school as the goaltending coach.

Interesting.

I did not realize it was so long ago. I feel old now.

Just noticed that Struble fell 14 spots while having a decent season overall... A lot of players jumped him by having great seasons... and a lot of new picks with more potential were added.

Goes to show how impressive the prospect pool is right now.

8 out of the top 20 are new prospects, so pretty much everyone fell except a few high riser like Farrell and Dichow.

Funny how only since this poll was started and what happened since… Mysak looks pretty much underrated at 19

While partially true, Struble's season was a little bit disappointing and not the progression one would have hoped for.

In terms of offensive statistics, he was much less dynamic than he was the previous season, although that seems like a trend for the whole team, playing a different kind of game than the previous season.

He is still a very strong player physically, but it remains to be seen if he can elevate his game above his peers. At this point in time, I believe his stock as a prospect has fallen slightly, making him a less intriguing prospect than 1 year ago.

On top of the influx of talent, he is a prospect who fell some, even though all hope is not lost with him.

It's the goals and assists. People look at that and come to a conclusion. Honestly though, he's one of the guys that popped out to me in camp every once in a while.

This might be a situation where the goals and assists he recorded in junior need to be put in more context, because I do think the lack of eye popping numbers dropped him on this list.
