It's time for our annual Ducks prospect rankings. Each poll will run for 48 hours except in the case of a clear landslide. I will go to the top 25 and include a final poll where you can pick 5 honorable mentions. Please tell me who you want me to add in the replies. In the twenty-fifth poll, I am voting for Blake McLaughlin.

As always the list will define prospects as hockeysfuture does: NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future.

Hvidston I liked how he looked at camp and he's a lot bigger than I thought.

And he was barely eligible for the draft. He's Zell/Terry young, which is part of the reason I think there is a lot of untapped potential in hin

Yep he's got size for how young he is.

Wait, so you're saying that being really tall is beneficial to a goalie? One might even say he has ideal size?

Being tall is a factor, but it's all for naught if you don't have talent. As proof, Stolarz was drafted in the 2nd round and Alexander was drafted in the 5th round. I'd rather invest in ideal talent lacking ideal size than ideal size lacking ideal talent.
