It's time for our annual Ducks prospect rankings. Each poll will run for 48 hours except in the case of a clear landslide. I will go to the top 25 and include a final poll where you can pick 5 honorable mentions. Please tell me who you want me to add in the replies. In the twenty-fourth poll, I am voting for Blake McLaughlin.

As always the list will define prospects as hockeysfuture does: NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future.

Pretty slim pickings at this point in time. I was tempted to go with Hvidson or Callow, since they are absolute wild cards with plenty of time to make a positive impression. But instead I went with Drew, since he actually played two games last year and could maybe, possibly have a role as a heavyweight. That is a unique potential in this list of players.

for me it’s between Hvidston, Callow for curiousity/upside or Regenda and King for likeliness to play, there are a few others such as Sundsvik that still have my interest as well. I suppose I’ll go with Hvidston based on his youth, and his likely increased role on his team this year.

I like Hunter Drew here. He already had an NHL cup of coffee. He has a niche, 4th line RW face puncher, waiting for him if he can improve his skating a little. Plus his 21-22 AHL numbers are pretty good.

I gotta go with Hvidston here. He's Zellweger/Terry young, played in U18 for Canada, has a solid frame to fill out, is already praised for his defense, and should start getting more looks in offense next season.

He's a long term project but I personally have high hopes for him
