It's time for our annual Ducks prospect rankings. Each poll will run for 48 hours except in the case of a clear landslide. I will go to the top 25 and include a final poll where you can pick 5 honorable mentions. Please tell me who you want me to add in the replies. In the seventeenth poll, I am voting for Sam Colangelo.

As always the list will define prospects as hockeysfuture does: NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future.

Out of what’s left I feel like colangelo or moore have the highest ceiling.

I think Alexander is an interesting goalie prospect.

Hinds could be a pretty solid bottom pairing dmen, if he pans out.

I see BOG tshigerl and lopina being pretty close, tshigerl prob has highest upside of the 3.

Went with colangelo

This is a big year for Andersson and his development. His career looks shaky if he doesn't take a pretty big step forward. First though, he absolutely needs to stay healthy.
According to Defend the Nest author (who watches the Gulls all season long), Andersson took a huge step forward last season and was the best defenseman for the Gulls when healthy. The big problem with Andersson is his inability to stay healthy. Hopefully, another year of training can help him stay healthy to be on the ice. Let's hope that Verbeek's new body development training scheme was already implemented. We needed that infusion since our team has been injury plagued every season for a while now.

No disagreement but I think he needs to take yet another step forward this year to show he belongs in the NHL. I'm rooting for him.

Yup. The one ability he needs to vastly improve is availability.

2020-21: Played 17 out of 44 AHL games
2021-22: Played 35 out of 68 AHL games

He can't develop more if he's not on the ice more.
