Well with the injuries to Vilardi, Fiala and Anderson I don't see the Kings winning this game unless Korpi get a shutout and the Kings score one like they did against the Oilers.

Vegas has a few key injuries too so can’t use that excuse against them.

top line has been pretty quite for a while. I wonder if it is time to do the ol' Iafallo shuffle.
Anze is clearly dealing with a lower body issue, he has nearly fallen over multiple times while pivoting over the past couple of games. Kempe has a hand/wrist issue. Byfield has the shootin' itis.

Still controlling play, just unable to finish against top competition and largely one attempt and done type shifts. If Fiala and Vilardi were healthy, yeah, it would be a damn good time to freshen things up and give Byfield a night off to release some pressure.

If the Kings lose tonight, I hope they give the vets some games off instead of foolishly chasing home ice when its out of their hands.

I'm not using it as an excuse. They had no offense at all against the Oilers, They mainly played defense and Copley kept it close. It is hard to win when you only score one goal. I realize Vegas has injuries but since the All Star break they have a better winning record than the Kings and they are playing at home. I would love for the Kings to win but if they bring the performance they did against the Oilers it will be practically impossible to win that way.

The last two losses to the oilers have pretty much taken the lead outta my pencil for the regular season.

Time to start giving some of the banged up guys games off to hopefully find that magic again for the first round. Seems like a great time to let guys like JAD, Spence, and Bjornfot to skate while you rest Kopi, Drew, and whoever else is needing it.

If they win tonight they should push for home ice against Vegas. If they lose or give Vegas a point, yeah, heal up.

Huh?
Under no circumstances do you risk falling into a wild card.
And as someone with a brain said you want to help Edmonton and not play them in the first round with the way they are playing.
I think they were just cruising last night against the Ducks.
Both teams were exchanging Charmin soft hits.
