50 goaltenders have played 20+ games this season.

Korpisalo ranks 14th among them in GSAE/60.

For reference, Copely ranks 23rd, Quick 48th, and Merzlikins 49th.

Both main trade pieces are in play tonight. Let's start putting this thing together and getting those wins rolling for the postseason. GKG!

Mikey Anderson - Drew Doughty
Vladislav Gavrikov - Matt Roy
Alexander Edler - Sean Durzi

That's a sexy group. Some big question marks though in the Summer when Edler retires and if Gav walks what we'll do.

There's a nice crop of UFA LD available that would fit.

Orlov
Ghost
Dumolin
Dunn
Graves
Soucy
Mikkola

and of course Gavrikov.

In terms of style of play and what they provide I'd say only these three.

The rest are too small or aren't capable of playing a shut down role. Also I wouldn't want Mikkola anywhere near the top 4. He's more of a 6/7.

Gets pretty tough with our cap situation. I played around a little on capfriendly.

Kept JAD/Kupari/Bjornfot with minimal raises.
Vilardi 2.5 x 2 years. Feels low this could be 3 million.

616,666 cap space. If Peterson stays down we have 1.7 million in cap space.

Buyout of Walker gives us 2.85 with Peterson playing.

To afford Gavrikov/Soucy who will get 3-4 million one of: Iafallo/Moore/RV need to be traded. With the team giving out our 1st this year, maybe we can get a second back for the last year of RV. Kaliyev could move up in the lineup and we sign Gavrikov (should he want to stay).

Koprisalo I don't know how to figure in at the moment.

Right now we have 8.7M in cap space, so we'll probably be around $2.5 after RFAs.

Walker won't be difficult to move out. Petersen will. Both of them would have to be moved to retain both Gavrikov and Korpi, so the team has to figure out which they would rather do - give up an asset or two or keep those 3 forwards.

I could see one of Arvidsson or Iafallo shipped out in the off season for some more cap space/internal promotions

Pure sloppiness and dumbassery when you can’t clear the blueline like that.
