I don't think the Habs have opened at home since 2013 when it was lockout shortened.

It's virtually always a multiple game road trip to start the year in the last 20 years.

They finally changed it up.

Damn, can't believe it! We're starting season at home! Starting to believe that would never happen again.

That's a long bye week they have to start February. 10 days. I'm guessing lots of guys will be heading for beaches & sunny weather. Come back to Super Bowl weekend matinees.

December is still brutal. 4-11 home games vs road, but it corrects itself in January. Not sure you want to spend that much time in Montreal in January, but they close it out with 10 days off.

Same old, same old except we play our 1st game at home then go on the road.
